Consumer brands do a great job resonating with their customers, but big healthcare systems, not so much. Online banking and the airline industries faced similar challenges in the past decade, and now the healthcare industry is ready for a new wave of technological innovation.

Healthcare in the U.S. is the only industry where paying more doesn’t equate to better outcomes or satisfaction. No part of the patient journey is frictionless and anyone who has been a patient knows this first-hand. Consumers want value-based care—and surprisingly—the system has not delivered high-value care to a majority of the population. Now is the time to fix that.
