Sign Up Vision

First-time guests spend twice the amount of time entering information to create an account, compared with time spent searching for a car. What if we reduced the amount of tasks at sign up by 60%? This vision project aimed to improve product quality for a high-friction experience.

The Sign Up vision project was successfully presented to executive leadership at Turo and is planned to be implemented in 2020. Additional outcomes of this vision work included:

  • Product team referenced this project frequently as a benchmark for product quality improvements

  • Journey mapping the guest experience from homepage through checkout

  • Inspiration for other designers to craft their own vision work to overhaul high-friction experiences
